We take many factors into account when designing, including the requirements of your site, energy efficiency principles, and your preferred architectural style and materials. Aaron and Susie will look at your magazine tear-outs and Pinterest boards, find out what you do and don’t like, what you need from your home, and how much you’ve got to spend. This early discussion and collaboration allows our draftsman to come up with a design that fulfils your brief functionally and aesthetically, fits your budget and maximises the use of your land (or, if you’re renovating, achieves the greatest cohesion between the old and new parts of your home).
We want our customers to be 100% happy with the design and cost of their new home before any contracts are signed. Our design process gives you the freedom to continue making tweaks and modifications until its perfect. All details including total cost (and what is and isn’t included in this) and how the home will be built are also clearly established before the contract is signed.
We can offer advice on economy of design in terms of how it relates to construction, to help streamline your total spend.
Our understanding of how homes come together and how people live in them is backed by many years of experience, enabling us to guide you through the multitude of choices and decisions. For example, we know what size spaces work well for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms etc; what finishes will work best in particular applications; how a floorplan might function best for your family.
Aaron heads onto site knowing exactly what you want: nothing gets lost in translation as the project moves from the design phase into construction and fit-out.
We understand your budget limitations, and if you’re making changes along the way, we’ll work with you to avoid cost blowouts.
